Call for Abstracts: ISCMGEH-LAC 2027 Student Conference on Medical Geology and Environmental Health

The International Environmental and Health Sciences Consortium (IEHSC) is pleased to share that abstract submission is now open for the 5th International Student Conference on Medical Geology and Environmental Health – Latin American and Caribbean Edition (ISCMGEH-LAC 2027).
This fully virtual conference brings together students, early-career researchers and scientists from Latin America, the Caribbean and the wider international community. Participants work in Medical Geology, Environmental Health, GeoHealth and One Health.
Sessions will run daily from March 17 to 19, 2027. Participation and abstract submission are free of charge.

Presentation formats
Oral talks and digital posters
The Scientific Committee will review all abstracts and select each one for oral or poster presentation. Oral slots are limited, so abstracts not selected for an oral presentation will be considered for a poster.
Oral presentation
8 + 2 minutes, presented live
Eight minutes to present and two for questions, tentatively. The final time may change depending on how many abstracts are accepted. Live talks are strongly encouraged; pre-recorded talks are accepted only in exceptional circumstances.
Poster
Digital PDF, 90 × 120 cm portrait
Accepted posters will be displayed on the conference platform throughout the event. Each presenter will have 2–3 minutes to present their poster.
