Primary Education Specialist and Children’s Author
Badajoz, Spain
María Concepción Teodoro Fraire, born in Badajoz, Spain, is a Primary Education teacher with over twenty years of professional experience in the educational field, actively engaged in the education and holistic development of children since 2000. Childhood education constitutes the core of her professional vocation, and throughout her career she has been dedicated to fostering learning, creativity, emotional development, and the overall well-being of young learners.
In parallel with her teaching career, she is a children’s author and has published two books: Mauro en el bosque de las flores blancas (Mauro in the Forest of White Flowers) and Mauro y la llave dorada (Mauro and the Golden Key). Her literary work aims to stimulate children’s imagination, encourage reading habits, support emotional exploration, and raise awareness of environmental care, aligning her narratives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through her publications, María Concepción Teodoro Fraire has developed a narrative-based educational methodology, using storytelling as a pedagogical tool to promote environmental awareness and responsible behavior among children. This methodology has been implemented in schools, libraries, and public cultural spaces, where imagination and creativity serve as key mechanisms for learning and engagement. Her approach integrates environmental education, emotional literacy, and creative pedagogy, contributing to the development of values-oriented and sustainability conscious citizenship from early childhood.
